Fedex delivered four days after the shipping option for free. Well packaged. Used in a dark room, so no glare is a problem. Great pictures with a digital cable (not HD), a regular ant / cable connection using a coaxial cable and digital adapter. Good sound, good band, good value for money. Profile is better, when TV was slightly lower than that of the eyes to minimize any shadows. Very happy with this TV. I also have 19 "Toshiba, I'm familiar with the various controls andSettings.

Big mistake Do not buy this LCD TV – First Time Mom – Chesterfield, VA USA
I bought a Toshiba REGZA 57LX177 LCD TV in October 2008, at $ 3,500. I thought TV was fine, worked well until April 2010. If your TV has horizontal lines on the page, fade, when the TV heats up. I contacted Toshiba and they said that I was not happy because the TV is out of warranty. I have a TV less than 1 year, 6 months and now the problem is that I can not afford the $ 3,500 repair. I would advise anyone to buy all their products. Inoticed a lot of similar complaints, and none received any help or support from Toshiba. Best Buy, not what to do, save the headache.

I bought this TV in November last year and immediately sat down with my wife in a first film 1080i, we could find to see on cable TV. It's "Brothers Grimm" and the image quality really, really room.
The film proved too great a problem for the unit. It 'was shot in very dark scenes, who fought with built-in auto-contrast and muddy things. There were other scenes, the extreme differences however, had the same structure.
We were verydisappointed.
It could be because it's easy to get controls for creating and corresponding changes to compensate for deficits, but after a while 'I realized that it was too different combinations. I needed to add some numbers to find the best settings set in the neighborhood.

This is probably the best 40 "+ by [...] that one. You may think that exercise and needs internal speaker is very good. Cheap HTS is recommended.

Here I will be brief, but TV is not what I expected. I really think what you pay for.
TV lines in the image. Old look good on DVD, maybe it's my cable connection. I do not know if anyone has anything to add, it would be nice.

OK, OK, people … Those who need to write a complaint to the quality of picture and sound, a step back and look at what others I bought for the same money and have so many features like this TV. Of course this is not the best, otherwise the dollar 1,000 + $ 549 instead of the cost when I bought it. Even the 1000-plus TV is still sound shit. The sound of this set is mediocre, but that is why there is an optical output for connecting the Dolby surround-sound setup. The picture is 1080p, and60Hz refresh rate – more than acceptable for normal HD programming. Players should be obvious to many who have at least the appearance of a faster moving game console 120Hz.
All in all – a great TV for the money. If you are looking for top TV market – this is not … but you should know that if you look at the price.
