Panasonic Viera TH-C42FD18 42-Inch 1084p Plasma HDTV Review
Posted by HDTV Buying Guide on May 23rd, 2010
This model seems to be the same as the TH42PZ85U and was purchased from Costco. Since buying the Panasonic SD9 high definition camcorder to the TV I want to upgrade the HD. After viewing many LCD and plasma TVs, I found myself highlighting Panasonic plasma HDTV. After waiting six months, I took the plunge and bought a 42 "Panasonic 1080p HD. I have not used for regular TV shows yet, but my Blu-ray (a piecePanasonic), HD DVD player and recorder. Shots that I shot with a Panasonic HD camera is nothing short of amazing on this set! Monitoring of 70 mm of material reminiscent of days of presentations in theaters, where we saw the breathtaking images of films like "Lawrence of Arabia," "The Sound of Music," "West Side Story", etc. Blu-ray and HD HD Video All colors are amazing, brightness and sharpness. Panasonic Plasma was not difficult to create, and I'm very satisfiedmy purchase. Highly recommended!

The Buy and sell TV part-time outside of my work. So in the last 10 years I have seen many good and bad models. First, I have the following sentence as my top five best brands from above. Samsung, Hitachi, Toshiba, Sony, JVC. JVC now can make a big jump and there are some agreements on prices. Anyway, I bought Toshiba. For money, the features and quality you can not go wrong. Did you know that two thirds of services are called for LCD Visio. Also note that two thirds of the services necessary for LCD TVs in all brands may have questions. It happens to all TVs in all brands, in order to verify that power has gone x says that time is simply not a fair assessment. In fact, because I repair TV and I can say that the fluctuations of power as the effect "Browning, no TV, no matter what brand you keep destroying your home. However, this model of TV is one of the best there . 120Hz picture, great HD and FAB. Did you know?Toshiba regular analog TV signal conversion? This is one of the few TVs that are always trying to do. Most of the HD-DVD or Blu-ray will do, but TV does not mean that the signal cable. To be honest, almost all TV will do 1080i HD signal. This is a great purchase

WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY THIS TV! – Kristina Evans –
These TVs are just the last 8 months. I bought a 720p 42 "on Amazon in April 2008. Within 10 months, TV has developed a solid line on the left – the LCD panel was shot. Even with the TV is under warranty, I had problems with Toshiba to send even someone to my house to question bad customer service and address! After nearly two months, and the inability to recruit sufficient spare parts Toshiba to provide the service centers and demand (because so manyConsumer LCD gone bad), but eventually did the right thing and gave me this model as a replacement. It was March 2009. Now, after only 11 months, the new TV will not turn on. My warranty has expired, because it was a replacement and lasted only one year from purchase date first set. If you have more than me to answer, because Google ["Toshiba LCD" Yellow LED flashes 3 times]. The cost of repair up to $ 800. Toshiba acknowledge that they haveproblem of quality of these TVs and refuses to help the victims. I think that could become a class action works.
And, oh yeah, I bought a Toshiba DVD player for only 14 months and is already acting up, I will never buy another Toshiba product. More incentives for the manufacturer, this type of behavior, giving them more money!
Great TV for the money – V. Laffoon –
TOSHIBA 42RV535U LCD
I bought this TV from Amazon.com. delivery company was great.
I got this TV about six months ago, and it was great leadership, because I installed it.
Why I bought the Toshiba, I bought the Samsung 120Hz in another room. Samsung certainly a better image, but not for twice the price. If you are not Hung-up to 120Hz, I think it is the same. I think I liked the better control of Samsung Toshiba.
Research this dog on the net and DON’T BUY It! – PenMangler – alabama, US of A
I bought the TV from the seller. 14 months later, the TV is not ready yet again after a brief power outage. Flashing yellow light times just happened again and again. Manual said it was normal, and when it started, it would be ready to go green. No, it is not. Hand and the Toshiba website should keep the switch on the box in five seconds, and it would reset. This worked … twice. Toshiba said on the site, pull it in an hour. This worked … once. Now 18 yearsMonths, a brief power outage knocked the summer storm back to light yellow. After four days is still flashing orange. I tried all the tricks I found by making short socks and shoes at them. I got is a common problem with this model. Business is to assess the problem for $ 189. Repairs on board, who went south about $ 600 and labor. Again, I'm just a victim of shoddy equipment. Toshiba basically told me that was not affected because it isoutside the warranty period. Therefore, the model of Internet search and see for yourself if one of them were tested for the new TV ads soon fail. Toshiba says it is not seen as a model for this new time trying to replace. The new card is the same. $ 1,300 dollars to 18 months of operation.
Great TV! – E. Killian – Mira Loma, CA
I'm doing the kind of research before buying that big, and go to the store and see products in person then I read reviews on the Internet. That's why I'm so happy I am with my new REGZA television. The color is beautiful, and when I have an HD receiver the picture is very clear. It 'also easy to use.

Which Size HDTV is Right for My Room?
![]() |
With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience.
If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get.

Mine died…twice – R. Liddell – Seattle, WA USA
On many forums you see people saying that about 2% of the time that Panasonic plasma have committed a fatal error. See for yourself, though. Never seen a consumer product with so many people complain that they are dying? I purchased in December 2007 and was certainly not disappointed with the picture or sound quality. Shame that Panasonic has some advice bad drive up their power. My first died in September 2009 but(Fortunately) still extended warranty on my American Express card. Panasonic Authorized Service Company replaced by the P-board ($ 650) and less than five months later, the TV is dead again – 10 flashing lights of death. In any case, I would have paid from his own pocket to get it back fixed. What's the over / under their die again in a few months? Never buy another Panasonic …
After two years, mine just broke as well – Steven Lee – ny
Acquired in February 2008 and worked until the wonderful last week. Other than the amount of heat to relax, I felt it was around the top model plasma.
I have all the CNET's proposal to adjust, depending on whether they are connected to your TV (via HDMI cable) and movies / games (60G PS3 is connected via HDMI) and is well developed.
Last week the screen went red at the beginning, if the inputs are not connected or not. The signals from bothCable or PS3 graphics were strictly red solarized. I did my research, thought it might be one of the panels or LVDS cable (big difference in the replacement rate) and called Panasonic. Since he was gone, and this guarantee is not a known issue that I have addressed the technical disclosure.
So I called Geek Squad. Geek Squad thought it might be the digital board, but obviously the phone can provide an accurate diagnosis. Estimated cost for repair would be $ 500 minimumand two visits.
The main problem for me is that although the diagnosis is mostly conjecture. Geek Squad may replace board, but if not paid by another party and another visit, and (especially), more time should be at work, or take a day off to do with it.
Using this analysis, I was on the website of Best Buy. They have a recycling program to pick up the old TV and recycling. I boughtSamsung un40b6000 and he said, is a small footprint, less than the best view in the corner.
good while it lasts – F. Celestina –
If the pixel is to die for my set about a year ago, the picture quality is amazing … while it lasts. I just got by me after almost two years and are now unable to turn on when I spend 300 to fix.
10 Flashing Lights – Kurosh Nahavandi – MI USA
It 'been a great TV for about 10 months, or yesterday, suddenly turned off the TV – 10 flashes of light and repeats – the search is not good. Fortunately, I seem to be still under warranty – but appears to be a systemic problem, and it breaks my heart to know that I have so much to ensure that rate.
I hope that I was treated well in the services and the problem is solved in a short period.
Oh yeah.

Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P42G10 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Review
Posted by HDTV Buying Guide on March 08th, 2010
I got this TV a couple of weeks and I am very satisfied. This is the first plasma TV that I have heard, and I love it! An exam that I learned more about plasma TVs, as the history of burn-in issues that do not work well in bright environments, and is much cheaper than in previous years. Image burn-in issues are fully resolved, Panasonic plasma is perhaps more recent. They also have the menu availableWhere is the sweep for the image processor, or pixel, no sign of clearing. My TV is running another 17-inch LCD Samsung since 2003 I have several hundred dollars more than this machine and Sony projector 1080p, which is a joy to own. On the negative side of my projector, it is virtually unusable during the day and the lamp life may vary depending on whether I have a lamp directly from Sony, or a cheaper alternative. lamp Sony will take many years, and 10 hours.for use during the week, but make several hundred dollars. Less lamp would only last 200-300 hours. I would recommend 1080p projector: You can get a huge 113 "screen and the projector itself is irrelevant, out of sight when not in use.
So I wanted to get a better TV for regular use (during the day, casual, Ads, etc) and I started with a 32 "Samsung LCD, which I liked a bit 'of good, but not the quality of images when Viewing contents of a regular DVD, which is importantme. Images displayed often waveryness quality or the quality of digital noise, unless they are part of the image, especially because they ride the camera, so that the movement in a scene from the viewpoint of the camera.
I always thought that LCD pleasant, but it was under $ 1000 TV, which has won general praise. It seems as if the LCD TV I want it all a bit 'more expensive, because many in this area run $ 2000 and above.
Then Istarted from plasma televisions to learn, as there are some pretty nice for under $ 1,000 (in some cases, $ 300 to U.S. $ 400 below). There seems to 1080p for display of this size or smaller, is actually a big problem, but really do not cost much more for the money I have, and why not? If the price is too different, so why not go to 1080p, although the difference in image quality is low. I Have a nice Sony Blu Ray (5000 ES), and I want to appear as a frameworkpossible, but I think it would have been happy with the TV equivalent of 720p.
Are very well how this television experience. Design, quality, etc. I would recommend this TV to be used in rooms lit. The screen is very meticulous and I tend to blind people, as in vision. It is not as clear as the Samsung LCD 32 "model 350, I tried. It is a living system that is much lighter, butpractically unwatchable if you have clean lines maintenance. Things often together, in this way, bleeding in a very unlucky.
I tend to THX mode for most currently in use, and looks good. But you can customize the settings, and relive that little, if you need it.
I needed a good TV and I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend it. I took me until about 6thAVE the best price, and there were two times more perfectly packagedForm without the UPS shipping and zero tax. I can not complain. Samsung 720p Panasonic plasma and is much quoted and are always planning one of those for my father, according to the prices and availability in a month or so.

Panasonic G15 – zero –
I have a G15 instead of G10. The only difference is the thickness, G15 is more subtle. The picture on this TV is absolutely incredible, the best I've ever seen. My friend has a new Samsung LCD LED, which cost him about $ 2,000, and Panasonic, which cost me $ 800, has a better picture.

I absolutely loved this TV for me. Set up was simple and I had the Olympic Games and looks great! The day was the number 2, I've seen Blu Ray movies and television for you. E 'morto. I tried to restore, while my son looked on the Internet to solve problems. The red light flashes 7 times the TV, wait, and then flashes 7 times repeatedly. My son said: "This is my father, I found an article as" Panasonic 7 flashing red lights of death! Were "symptoms andexactly. (I thought it was hysterical at the moment …) I waited over 2 weeks, the businessman to come and solve the problem, but a part is backordered. It 'clear that part of the application, for any reason. (I wonder why?) But I of this series, he was pleased that the work and hope to have solved my problem and my nightmare is over before television. Meanwhile, I have Panasonic surround sound system, Panasonic Blu-Ray and Linksys Media Center Expander sitting in a country waiting to connect to work PANASONICTV! If you solve the problem, I have my own misery. If not corrected quickly, I want to replace it with something that works. I have a Sony in another room for 4 years and it works fine … Tick Tack Tick Tack Tick Tack Tick Tack Tick Tack Tick Tack Tick Tack …
