I got this TV a few months ago, so I could get my 360 and PS3 from a computer monitor. Of course I knew that TV is not always super high end, but at the end of the day I wanted to make it work for games at a functional level. To this end, this TV met all my expectations and exceeded them.

Games look good, no alcohol, easy to read fine text, and color and resolution are so nice. Compared to "other TV" Well, I would say that I sawThe colors are perhaps a bit 'faded is not as rich as any other TV I've seen. I have read of people playing with different settings to look better, but overall not something I'm the expert, or even attempted. When switching inputs, or sometimes during the filming of the game on green screen funny about graphic design at the bottom of the screen. Responding to the inputs of switching is a bit 'slow in comparison.

Film, DVD and Blu RayLook good, but more or less what I saw, to keep up with the games. I would say that the visual quality, or lack thereof, in the absence of a better way, because it is a bit 'clearer in the film, which is, as in the game. I recently saw some old films and some scenes darker and lighter clear. And 'much better than SD TV I had before, but there are notable differences between this and other decisions can be costly.

Cable TV seemsworse than my SD TV for the most part. I do not have digital or HD package (not watch TV enough to justify the cost), so most of what I had in my HD package. HD channels look great for me, but look for some reason all the other channels, just not right. I do not know if you can not find an item, the display settings of the extreme right, many of which I tried to fault or the actual programming are more apparent. A typical cable show seems a bit 'distorted and blurry to me. However, it is not so bad that I return to my previous TV.

Built-in audio is not great. Whether it's a game / movie / show is guilty or not, you will fight alone with the volume control on the time to strike a reasonable balance. I met the film, and "voice" of sound, which helps, but I have to juggle a fair amount of tape to do with the speakers. I personally am trying to get surround soundSound set up, which could eliminate the problem, but out of the box the sound is amazing. This seems to be the case for most TVs, but it's true.

Function? Now there really is not. For this price, I think it's to be expected.

Overall, this is a great TV for the money. most demanding fans, it could be argued forcefully against this TV, but I think walking to consumers for the improvement of this basic law. ForFor me this is my first set was HD too short for my computer monitor when I was much to see beyond the technology curve, this time, I'm sure there are many others like me.

Buzzing audio – BaHa22 – Wisconsin, USA
Purchased this item from Amazon at a great price. I liked everything about this TV but the audio had a constant buzzing that was louder than the regular ringing in my ears. I removed all audio sources, one by one, but the buzzing persisted. Placing the unit in Mute mode stopped the buzzing and that was OK as I used an external stystem to augment the audio. The problem there was that the mute icon stayed on the screen as another distraction. Unfortunately I can’t live with either of these Arguments. After returning to the Amazon and prefers the exchange, but only offered a refund because it was listed as unavailable. Too bad, I felt the picture was excellent and the size is perfect for my use. This would have given 5 stars if the use of sound as they should.

This TV is simply amazing and I love every aspect of it.

Above all, the exterior design is a dark, slim and very attractive, especially as regards the design of the Samsung range, we have grown to love.

TV is not at all difficult, so it is easy to move and create, was a normal standing or mounted on the wall.

The picture will blow your mind. It is as brilliant as it comes. The ratio of 60,000:1 has a very good transmitting black and white and the brightnessis really good. The colors are very vivid images really stand out.

I have a Xbox360 and PS3 connected to it and the gameplay is incredible. Blu-ray, in this case are just breathtaking, the picture is really loud and clear and let the brightness and color depth really impressed.

Many people have criticized the earpiece, but I think the sound is really good and clear. I also think that the connection to home theater system 5.1, butbuilt-in audio is not bad.

The price is great IMO, I paid U $ 705.00, and it came in perfect condition.

Overall, I think this book is a great buy. Excellent TV at a very good price. Highly recommended.

TV was purchased less than 6 months. It was a "secondary TV and probably less than 50-75 hours of use. Yesterday morning began like odor smell of electrical fire. TV when I was still working for me, to see where the smell came from the wound. completion of few minutes the whole house, the smoke of evil. I found that it was the TV and unplugged it. Connected to the TV to try it again only in the evening. Great sound, no picture, it still stinks.Who needs Stinky 40 'Flat-radio?

matte screen does a great job reduced reflections in a sunny room with large picture window. I do not know if many models do not recommend the matte screen, but I would say.

Fantastic TV for the price. I run my laptop with HDMI port on TV. Everything looks good and works well. The sound quality is definitely above par compared to TV, but obviously not a very good sound. Many options and settings menus, which are a little trick can be overwhelming, but I think. If the network connection (cable or optional wireless), but only for the functionality of media-sharing, not TV streamingNetflix. It 'been a bit' disappointing for me because I read somewhere supports Netflix. Well, except that I recommend this TV for anyone who values high quality, very few artifacts (stutter, tremor, etc..) Bezel attracts a lot of dust, but we have two cats, and then probably fly more hair / dust most people.

WARNING, AVOID SAMSUNG AT ALL COSTS – Andrew –
I recently purchased a Samsung model LN40C630 after searching the internet for months. Amazon had the best price, so I pulled the trigger. I had the TV very quickly and grabbed the box and began assembling the rack. After mounting the rack, I began to mount the support on the back of the TV. Unfortunately, there is a point of view and, as was clear to another TV. I began to look the other items in the box a bit 'more closely. It 'was then that I noticedOwners Manual, remote control and had another TV (5 series, 46-inch TV that I learned later). State, as it was for another model. Frustrated, I called Amazon and advised me to contact Samsung did what I do. SAMSUNG recurrence score were useless and told me that all parties were in a box (no TV), made bad …. I asked how it could happen, of course, that never, ever heard of this event is. However, they told me that it would send new parts. 2Weeks later, he waited patiently, and they were the parts were bad for TV.
At this point I was furious to be so I called Amazon and explained the situation to which I said a replacement TV delivered immediately. A few days later I received a second TV, opened the window and here is the same, all other parties. I called Amazon and told them I wanted to pay (which he immediately did) and they sent someone took an old TV.

Moral of the story to protect theirThe money, time and energy and not buy Samsung. It 'obvious that they have serious quality problems, customer service problems and other issues. Just Google problems Samsung / customer service and you will see, I'm not alone. Pray that you never had a problem with Samsung products and have to call customer service.

I had the TV about a month. It 'was delivered as promised and setup. I do not have the time of delivery, there is a crack in it and I do not know who to contact to correct noted. The image is clear and I have more channels than I had with Comcast, because I also receive some HD channels. I'm not a sound expert, so I'm happy, though I have other places I do not like the sound and add your own speakers to read. I have not read all directions, but what I wantis easy to use.

This is my third Samsung TV. The first lasted the whole two years, first, that less than one third and lasted three years. I find it ridiculous that you pay $ 1,600 for several years on a new TV, because you bought a piece of junk.
We also had the Samsung refrigerators, one month after the warranty ran out and a microwave oven broke two times before the warranty was repaired, and then died shortly after being.

I see that there is a newer model of this TV at the moment, but I hope this review will help an old model looking to buy the new model. We are always amazed at 1080p on this TV. We installed in our game, and we are driving there to watch TV instead of tracking the Sony LCD projection TV (720p) in the living room. The picture looks great with Blu-ray, as well as with our PS3 games. We are very satisfied with your purchase. Amazon iswhite glove delivery was great. We were asked to take the time to call and people, and brought it home for us.

TV is good … problem, or something else is always wrong. My TV shut down after only 18 months and repair costs are so high, I'm planning for the TV and go to another brand landfill. Checked online and found that many people had the same problem.

We bought Sony Bravia and a half years ago from Amazon. It was about 5 stars, everyone loves. Last week we turned on the TV and saw we were all vertical lines. My husband is looking at problems with this model and found some threads of people with the same complaints. No picture, only vertical lines. Everyone wrote that the cost of repairs actually more expensive than what you pay for TV. We are faced with the Sony technician, and I said, LCD TV boardwas shot. The cost is $ 1,800.00 for Sony. Plus $ 200 for a mechanic. After only 1.5 years in TV repair costs were exactly what we spent to buy. Mechanic says that this happens very often with Sony products now, and Sony does not move to help with the costs simply do not care. My husband called Sony to complain and told them that we will never buy another Sony product again. How disappointing. Please, do yourself a favor andsome serious research before spending so much money for Sony TV. Amazon reviews are great, but what you need to research what happens to products after they have been all year. Sony used to put out a great TV, but now they are pathetic.

I bought this TV in November last year and immediately sat down with my wife in a first film 1080i, we could find to see on cable TV. It's "Brothers Grimm" and the image quality really, really room.
The film proved too great a problem for the unit. It 'was shot in very dark scenes, who fought with built-in auto-contrast and muddy things. There were other scenes, the extreme differences however, had the same structure.
We were verydisappointed.

It could be because it's easy to get controls for creating and corresponding changes to compensate for deficits, but after a while 'I realized that it was too different combinations. I needed to add some numbers to find the best settings set in the neighborhood.

Here I will be brief, but TV is not what I expected. I really think what you pay for.

TV lines in the image. Old look good on DVD, maybe it's my cable connection. I do not know if anyone has anything to add, it would be nice.

OK, OK, people … Those who need to write a complaint to the quality of picture and sound, a step back and look at what others I bought for the same money and have so many features like this TV. Of course this is not the best, otherwise the dollar 1,000 + $ 549 instead of the cost when I bought it. Even the 1000-plus TV is still sound shit. The sound of this set is mediocre, but that is why there is an optical output for connecting the Dolby surround-sound setup. The picture is 1080p, and60Hz refresh rate – more than acceptable for normal HD programming. Players should be obvious to many who have at least the appearance of a faster moving game console 120Hz.

All in all – a great TV for the money. If you are looking for top TV market – this is not … but you should know that if you look at the price.

I bought this Samsung TV on Black Friday. I found it great TV. The picture looks great with my digital cable and a Samsung Blu Ray Player fantastic. The colors just pop and the picture is clear. I connected a Samsung surround sound system, and now the sound is fantastic. I have no problem with television, or other Samsung products that I bought. Just plug in and look and sound great! Yesterday watching the Super Bowl and we look forward to March Madness!

This TV is good for its price. I realized during the Thanksgiving sale for only 799! The picture quality is very good and see Xbox games in HD awsome. I think it's simple and quick: I worked as manager for electronics giant for a while 'and I have seen and compared many screens … No other panel is close to Samsung in my opinion (and similar models, such as 550 or 600) in terms of value for money. If you are looking for 37-40 inches. is better than anything on the market other than non-elite units (price under 3K are not so silly).

Advantages: trendy-design (thin and clean looking)
Big Picture (needs tweeking, but expected. Rosewill I use the HDMI cable I bought for $ 15 each)
side viewing angles are amazing
-120Hz is the perfect look without the soap opera, "realistic"
-40''Is solid, not too big or too small (in my opinion)
Ports, ports and connectors (all you need + +)
Tons of menu functions / options (easy)
Serious sound (the TV speakers are notExpect a month)
Guide is useful and not too jargoned
Packages for the fight (UPS & Toshiba has a great job, perfect)

Cons: the state does not come with instructions and a little 'difficult. Neither the Rotary
Toshiba daylight logo permanently switch in one easy-to-find item, had to throw out there that really why people are complaining! HAHA

Other thoughts: After weeks of research and opinions, I started driving, hecrazy, analysis paralysis. Eventually I pulled the trigger when it hit $ 599 and I'm so glad I did! Please, if you are in your price range, you should buy this TV, nothing less. TV in my bedroom, which is about 12×12 and sound very good. If you went to a lounge and large family room, obviously you want to surround-sound setup. I connect my laptop via HDMI and that kid is an ideal monitor for surfing, games and movies! A note, if you experienceProblems with audio from a PC-to-HDMI to menu -> Settings -> AV Settings -> Settings and HDMI switching and LipSync Instaport go. I spent all day figuring out why my audio delay, however, set a trick. I was a bit 'after reading some reviews audio distortion, but either get a sentence that does not have a problem, as I am, or Toshiba will send you a USB drive with an update that may resolve the problem of fear. The disadvantage is the risk worth it, trust me =)

This television (Toshiba REGZA 42 "HDTV) shows a good picture and sound is beautiful, but it was a bit 'expensive. I have had since 2008, and need maintenance. It' blacks out. You can turn off and then the 'image will come again, but go right again. He has done for the last month. Then come back and come to stay, but now you can only get the sound, it remains only for 30 seconds. I would buy again. Well, my 5-years oldWarranty.

Very happy with this TV. It 'was our first flat screen LCD TV, I checked a lot on the Internet. I saw in the showroom with the Sony side by side, I could not tell the difference in image quality. Setup was easy and the picture quality is excellent. Our distance is exactly nine feet, so it's a perfect size TV for us, I am disappointed that I have received more.

Well worth the price – bob vila –
I bought this TV off a (…) (…) delivered within three days. I bought it about a month ago. The picture quality is great. It has five display option mode to change the display size. It has 3 HDMI ports, HD Plug-five ports, a PC connection cable and accessories. The sound is decent, but I am stuck in surround sound. Watch a DVD for the first time in high definition is phenomonal. Still need to connect your computer, but the Xbox 360 was awesome cool. My living room is not too great, so Ineed a big screen TV. For the price of this TV is worth buying and it's better than some of the TVS (…) (…) I wanted more. Of course, my needs and desires filled better than I expected.
