I had my Toshiba 32AV500U for 16 months and love it. The image is crisp and clear. The colors are great. My only complaint would be no sleep timer, Incase I sleep like a normal night for TV use. But I noticed a couple of months ago, when the lights, the sound is not in the picture. I would like to remove one, two or more, and then it will work. It 'was annoying, especially because I was past warranty. I decided this week to get to Toshibawebsite, if someone complained, and when the medicine. The best thing I did because as it turns out Toshiba's extended warranty on this model for 12 months and is set free TV. My next TV will be, it is likely that the Toshiba customer support Sun

I bought this TV in 2008. E 'was great, until it began to problems with the image. Question: Sometimes I turn on the TV, just sound and no image. This does not happen every time, but I consider it a problem that could only worsen. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get back and find a replacement. I hope I can … I would think that it is under warranty.

Overall I think it's great TV and Monitor. I use it as my primary monitor HTPC with Windows 7 Media Center and a simple indoor TV antennas. I really enjoyed the Olympics in HD recording and playback stop skating motion. My roommate has the same TV and Comcast clear QAM without a set-top boxes, and computers. Receives all digital channels.

I surf the internet and see a lotInternet TV and it works for them too. (Hint: Reduce the brightness of the backlight for easy reading of texts with less eyestrain. With "sport" mode for Internet TV, which is very dark).

All the various inputs to allow several advantages over a normal monitor (see the arguments above.) I read the text clearly from up to 15 meters. (Great for lounging on the couch or in bed.) The only disadvantage of the use of HDTV, this is a limited number of resolutions.

IHe saw no difference in quality with HDMI or VGA cable, as I said, some other people. I'm not sure what the story with PC input, S-video. It looked really bad when I plugged in my laptop. However, it looks great with the VGA cable. I submitted to other devices such as DVD players for this issue.

Monitoring of Internet video is good, but sometimes not much at 32. "I really do not want a screen no bigger than this because the website to save space by convertingVideo quality is very low. I opened some videos on YouTube I saw correctly. My 14 "laptop handles them better.

I bought this TV for my RV. When the AC on you TV is not here! I need to buy a converter because it is not HD ready, so there will pick up local stations without cable services. We stay a few fields that do not have cable service, so we were unlucky, I am hopeing that the converter box to solve the problem. With regard to the sound, waiting to install surround sound receiver, so we have television, where it activates the AC. I can not believeToshiba can make a HD TV with 1080p and it not have a built in tuner to pick up loal stations withou cable service. Not such a bargain after all !!!!

Specifications

Toshiba’s Regza line of TVs marry state-of-the-art technology to hip design. One feature that sets them apart is PixelPure 14-bit digital video processing, which creates more than 4,000 levels of color gradations for a smooth, natural-looking picture without posterization or image banding. Another benefit is a fast response time. Response time is the interval an LCD screen takes to from its darkest color to its lightest color and back again, measured in milliseconds (ms). This screen’s response time is 8 ms, which is at the faster and better end of the spectrum. This screen is likely to display cleaner, sharper images during high-action scenes and with fewer image artifacts than other screens in its class. This technology is housed in a black gloss cabinetry that is sure to fit well with most any decor.

The 32HL67 has a panel resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. This qualifies it as 720 progressive-line HDTV, which is a noticeably better picture than standard definition sets, but not as detailed as the 1080 HD sets available. Its 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio delivers most movies the way they were meant to be seen in the theater, without back bars wasting the top and bottom of the screen.

The Value of LCD TVs
Aside from their obvious aesthetic value, LCD TVs are much more practical in the home than CRT (tube-style) televisions. 32-inch wide screen
A general rule of thumb for selecting the right size television screen is that the screen width–not its 32-inch diagonal measurement–should be between three and five times the optimum viewing distance, such as the distance from the TV screen to where your eyes are while sitting on the couch. Less than that and you may be distracted by the scan lines of the picture. More than that, and you may lose the detail of your TV. Based on this guide, the 32HL67 is ideal for viewing distances of seven to 12 feet.

I also thought this was good television, pay more than $ 800.00 for this two years ago. Like others who have reviewed this product picture suddenly went black, although my audio settings and other controls still worked.

In short, I am very pleased with Toshiba and disappointed expensive proposals on this model so I went to buy the LG, which I like.

These TVs have given good service for two years when we had no problems with it. But after 2 years, gave out for the LCD backlight. Well, if your TV is on, the picture appears very briefly and then goes black. You can still hear the sound, however. $ 750 for TV, I waited more than 2 years of activity.

I knew I wanted HDTV Samsung because I have big things from friends who know more about technology than I had ever heard. I have absolutely not satisfied with my purchase. TV has great sound and picture quality in dark / low light conditions and in a room lit by the sun. TV in the bedroom, which is the ideal size. It 'was a simple configuration, I did. We bought TV in 2006 and is still great. It is not 1080p, but at least it is not 1080i. We did not play BlueRay, and we actually get rid of the HD cable because it is so expensive (wait for FiOS WAS Taken in our area), and so we are just cheap rabbit ears antenna and cable, but you need HD signals over the air and look great. We connect your laptop to watch TV, video on Hulu a lot and they look great, as good as when we had the HD box andDVRing were shown, only now we have a set schedule.

I do not think this model is available, I'm sure the Samsung has a model similar to that now.

Samsung seems to be a bit 'expensive, but look at this day is still better than most TVs out there. I do not anticipate we upgrade our TV for a bit ', because this TV has all the connections we need, and is big enough for our stay.

Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound.

After careful examination and application of learning (nagging. .. hahahah!) From my wife, I bought this TV for our bedroom. Originally I wanted TV / DVD combo, but then I thought that I always see my PC to the TV and movies when I want and not a lot of LCD TV / DVD combinations in 32 "available on the market and those available are too expensive or did not obtain that many points. This country has gone again.

TV …. God … What TV. Reallylike. It is 720p and I have HD programming, then this TV is ideal for SD broadcast. The image is strong and clear. Sound, which was my main criteria for selection, as it was for the bedroom, is very clear, no echo or distortion.

It 'a sweet sound that I like when the TV is on or off. It 's easy.

Ironically, even if TV is so good that I had to hang on the wall — is, yes, I have a wall with the help of his friend.

I'M guessing the TV is always replaced with new televisions, and wud expect prices fall, but this TV is so good, I doubt that they continue to lower the price. Value of money.

Defective components – Big Al – Chicago, Il
This model, as well as others from what I read on the internet, capacitors are manufactured with defective power board. This is a problem that Samsung does not seem to realize, and chances are that the length of capacitors life 'is about 1-3 years of regular use. If they fail, the answer will turn on the television rather than the area in general, or the power LED flashes red / left, but the screen does not rotate at all, or flashes on the screen.
There may be other causesbut this is the most common. If you really want to buy this TV, guarantees long term.

Cheap underpowered capacitors on power supply – G. Duncan – Plainfield, IL USA
This television lasted a year and a half before the turn. After looking around on the internet, I found these televisions have a distribution range of capacitor problems. They are too weak and cheap. It also sits directly on the 2 large cooler on board. Of course I had to call several times and went to the Samsung until they are approved by the question, and she sent me a prepaid label to send its service center outside of NJ. 3 weeks and calls later my TVFinally a solid basis sans my hardware arrived to connect the TV. Now I'm scrambling to trace these parts. Samsung and accuses me of shipping the parts so they are replacing. Well, at least my TV has. I'll probably try next time Sony.

After 15 months and 4 days, the power went wrong (stand-by power, but nothing else) and Samsung refuses to do something different from me will pay for repairs (Gee, almost $ 700 TV and it is likely that the repair cost at least a hundred!, not to mention that they are now waiting to be contacted 3-4 days rep, so I can only estimate the cost of the service).
