Samsung UN55C700 Review

I purchased this Samsung UN55C7000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV nearly as soon as it was offered, wished to use it a whilst a whilst just before I published a review. I’ve had it about 3 months now, so it’s time.
This TV is amazing, everybody who sees it is immediately jealous. Then I tell the to seem from the side, and they are once more blown away…it’s 1″ thick I mounted it on a energy-tilt wall mount…as shortly as it comes on, it tilts down type the wall, and back up when I turn it off. They market the mounts on Amazon, but I was in too much a hurry and received it from a nearby massive-box shop (for a lot more $). Absolutely a great accessory for this arranged, and at 50 lbs you can use mounts meant for smaller sets.
There are a bunch of apps (which seem to want to “update” precisely when I test to show off this element to my buddies…not a good promoting point, but if I employed the apps far more generally it wouldn’t take place precisely when I was striving to present off!), that are neat and some are really helpful. It was simple to match my established to the various solutions.
Netflix streaming rental app is really nice (even though the motion pictures for streaming aren’t the newest ones) and I ditched my Blockbuster mail-in service quickly soon after realizing their app only *sells* videos, no rentals, and the Netflix combo mail and streaming was cheaper anyhow.
The YouTube app is fantastic, have watched plenty of those people in complete screen mode. Weather conditions, site visitors, and other things very. I tend to just enjoy Tv on the fixed most of the time.
I purchased the 3-D Dvd player, very, which appears to have the same apps…so there’s very much redundancy for my taste there. Also, as quickly as I turn on the Dvd player, it takes above the Television immediately…that blows, occasionally I want to give the Dvd movie a probability to warm up and get staged whilst I’m watching the end of a thing else. No *genuine* trouble, just grab the remote and switch inputs once again…but annoying for sure.
The seem leaves a thing to be desired…but what can you expect from a 1″ thick tv??? I feed the output to a Samsung soundbar with wireless subwoofer and all is well!
Controls are quite intuitive, all produced sense. The remote is actually neat and shiny silver, and there are strange buttons I have no thought what they do…but I could seem it up if I wanted. They may possibly be macros or one thing. The Dvd movie player’s remote is equivalent, and can handle some of the Tv functionality, overly…which I like.
3-D is…nicely…there, and nonetheless below improvement by broadcasters. I haven’t done a lot with that, as there’s not that a lot to do. I didn’t understand some Globe Cup games were broadcast in Three dimensional, or I would have tried to stand that horrible buzzing sound type all those obnoxious horns to see how it looked. “Converting” standard signals to 3-D appears silly, but each and every now and then you can see an effect. A basketball game did seem Three dimensional-ish, for positive. The glasses are a bit less comfortable than I’d like, so I prefer to observe in 2D without them on. As channels are added with 3d, I may possibly change my mind. The “kids” (adult kids) like messing with that things.
There is some thing about the image…it’s so Substantial Def, so “real”, that for a although almost everything looked like a soap opera. It’s difficult to describe what I’m trying to say. Everything seemed to have that “soap opera feel” to it, some things was kind of uncomfortable to view for some explanation. We obtained around it, I guess, simply because we don’t observe it anymore…but site visitors mention how “real” issues seem and I think they are noticing the exact same issue we employed to see.
Extremely pleased with decision to acquire this from Amazon. Unit arrived precisely when it was supposed, to. The delivery guys known as in advance, and have been quite polite. If I wasn’t going to wall-mount it, they would have taken it out of the box and arranged it up for me. I purchased the four year Square Trade guarantee from Amazon, overly…repairing this factor only once would have to price WAY much more than the selling price of the warranty.
