Customer’s Review : I spent a solid month researching which surround sound program to purchase when i stumbled upon this Samsung HT-C5500. I was also seeking at the samsung bt 2150 which was rated very excellent purchase. I’m guessing this system is an upgrade since its the 2010 design so i assume that indicates its much better.

I bought this Onkyo HT-S3300 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package about 1 month ago. I have bought 65″ Samsung LED too. The sound top quality is Great! The subwoofer pounds for just getting an 8″ woofer. I was playing Resident Evil on XBox and let me tell you it was rumbling my condo down!

My neighbor came more than and asked if I could reduce my surround sound since it knocked down a couple of her images and broke them.

Now a fantastic element of the installation was mounting the speakers. I was searching into purchasing omni mount but man investing that very much and the reality that the speakers dont have a screw hole in the back produced it kinda of a nightmare. (more…)

Actually this Onkyo TX-SR707 7.2-Channel A/V Surround Home Theater Receiver product is WAY greater than the 507 series I know the watt is only rated at 20 watts much more into 8 ohms but the 707 looks very much far better at powering all my speakers.

On the 507 I had to turn the amp to about 75 % ( my space is pretty significant but not enormous) on dvd’s to fill my space.. the 707 does this at about 40-45 % of the offered volume. Plus for some purpose, the upgraded DAC’s perhaps but the seem is far superior to the 507. I’ve very pleased.

Because of  the Onkyo TX-SR507 and was unhappy with it.. I believed it would be the appropriate type simply because I only desired 5.1 help and that design also had the universal port for the Onkyo iPod dock.

I made a decision on the Definitive Technologies Mythos and a Definitive Engineering Supercube 1 as my speakers and sub and I discovered the 507 to be somewhat underpowered as well as the 507 did not help on display exhibit which at the time i didn’t believe was that bid a offer. (more…)
