I was left for 30 days. I had some doubts soon all Edge-lighting, but was found to be frivolous. The image is excellent. Played the Dark Knight and Underworld, and the amount of contrast and deep blacks treated excellent.

Slim design is an art. My set is sitting at the console (not installed) and adjusts the room from me, no cables visible and stylish design.

streaming functionality is a nice property, good links with Amazonand Netflix. However, because it does not show, so to free Internet content portals like Hulu, television and the Internet pouzzled without a laptop. (Or, I realized again.)

small drawback is that more has to do with Sony as XBR10: No Wi-Fi dongle for Sony. Samsung version only works with Samsung. So if you have an Ethernet port area, you need a wireless bridge in a house without wiresNetwork.

Warning : Failed after 1 year, If you have to have a Sony XBR then buy Extended Warranty or BUY another brand – T. Lam – San Jose, CA USA
Here is my story, I hope someone can learn from my tragic mistakes. I have seen LCD panels from Samsung Sony is actually doing. When you buy a Sony television because it is the LCD panel (the most important and expensive part of the TV) is manufactured by Samsung in Korea. Picture may be good, but how long will it take ….. For me, it lasted only a year and four months. Although a simple search on Amazon, you'll notice that Amazon is not a Sony XBR LCD TV sells more directly, because I thinkare so many complaints from customers on a Sony LCD TV. We are looking forward to seeing you find the Amazon Sony XBR LCD TV is sold directly to … Amazon refer to other brands like LG and other brands, when you see all the Sony XBR LCD TV ….. and my full story below:

5/9/2010- I brought the Sony XBR series on Amazon for about 1 year and 4 months and now TV is denied. The picture quality up to yesterday was a huge picture began to decline and nowMy green clouds and rainbows all the images. Authorized Sony service tech called out, they told me it costs $ 75 for the service at home because it is outside the warranty period. They also said that if the LCD panel, and then not cost the same as TV. This is my first Sony LCD, but I have 3 other Sony TVS-1 30 "CRT Sony 47" XBR rear projection and 65 "XBR rear projection TV. All the latest Sony TV with no problem and I'm still 65"Rear projection TV. What happened to the quality and reliability of Sony products? I think it was assessed in the same position as other top Japanese products, such as Toyota. Are simply too busy to cut costs and lower reliability, so that billions of dollars in profits can rack. So if you like the picture quality on Sony TV, the advice is to buy their extended warranty. I wish I did because when the LCD panel is not really my only big LCD TV 52 "black frame on the wall. If youreally, really get the Sony XBR LCD TV then I would recommend getting the 5 year extended warranty for $ 299, you save a lot of disappointments. And after five years, you may want to upgrade.

Updated May 11, 2010: Today, technology has come and checked the LCD panel went after one year and four months of bad service. We bought this TV in our local Costco store and was very pleased.

Before we bought the TV a manufacturing defect and can not be switched on. We were very disappointed because the quality of image, color was probably very natural for the other TV in the store and did not want to miss this TV. So we took it for a second attempt.

We found this TV at a great price at Costco. We were immediately attracted by the quality of its full sound. For some reason, larger LCD sets Rotten sound much worse than the old analog sets.

The only difference between the Samsung and Toshiba, paintSlowing looked better, but at the price of Toshiba's. I had two weeks and I have no problems with it. At first I thought the menu screens are a bit 'basic and inefficient compared with Sony's menu, but after a while' is actually quite intuitive and easy shortcuts. This TV replaced with 42 "LCD signs. There is no comparison, even though I paid only $ 100 more than I paid for Insignia less than 2 years.

I'm not going to replace my TV because I was not happy with my old, but the whole time I was a beta test of Windows 7 on my Media Center, I could not with HDMI. So I took a chance on a problem with a larger television instead of my newer computers, and it was worth it. I use HDMI again.

My Xbox Elite will be great for repairs, so I went and bought me a test with the Sony PS3 and some games, and games.

To fully planned, impulse purchases, are verysatisfied with this device. I was limited to four different brands, Sony, LG and other brands. The 47 "Samsung 120Hz refurbed price for all but one. This is the amount of units being planned. The plastic frame around the LCD screen is very sensitive to scratches and Mars. Refurbed This device has clearly shown the error . My attempts to clean without using chemicals was almost unusable. revealed that the plastic is difficult to clean with mild soap and water. It 'been 5 stars for the first two years, so similar to others that have the same problem (read the thread distorted image for more information) anywhere between 1.5 and 2 years, the screen is a problem. It is not really dead pixels, but the screen should be "warm up" for about 20 minutes, then the image is again surprising. The problem is getting worse every month, but right now I'm still painting at 20 minutes.

In essence, the image with a few thick and thin vertical white stripes filled beginningat the bottom and go about 80% (In the beginning it was only along the bottom) of the way to the top before thinning out. At about 15-30 minutes it clears but can sometimes be cleared up faster by turning the tv left/right. This will require service to fix or patience to deal with. Warranty is only 1 year on this tv.

I absolutely loved this tv for the first 2 years, the picture beat all other tv’s hands down. It seems more and more products these days are built to last 1-2 years, I hope the quality is a return in electronic

I had this product for 18 months and stopped working properly. On the right side of the chassis to vibrate in the first round. We also have horizontal lines across the image. All will be safely repaired after 10 minutes – why not. When I called Samsung, who would help me when I was out of warranty. He asked me if I bought the extended warranty. I paid a premium for a good brand, and as such I do not think I would need guarantees. I do not know why Samsungdo not stand behind their product, and fell on the extended warranty. Although we continue to use television, we are moving to another room, and others who do not buy Samsung.

Poor Quality Unit… Breaks after warranty period – Alexander Herrero – South Florida
I purchased this unit in December '07. I was very happy with the device until 12 months after I bought it when he began to develop classic red lines from top to bottom on the left side of the screen. We called Samsung and grateful that the weather was just out of warranty and they replaced the entire panel, so basically only the diaphragm and the connection plate. So I thought everything was wonderful. And it was about 12 months of repairs and guess what '… BacklightThe device is now Gone Bad. This time its out of warranty. I paid $ 2,000 for this device … This is the first time I ever had something so expensive to go bad so quickly. It 's a shame. I bought a Samsung washing machine and dryer. When I have a problem with people who I thought would never buy another Samsung product again. They are just too shaky. I'm so disappointed.

I bought this Samsung TV on Black Friday. I found it great TV. The picture looks great with my digital cable and a Samsung Blu Ray Player fantastic. The colors just pop and the picture is clear. I connected a Samsung surround sound system, and now the sound is fantastic. I have no problem with television, or other Samsung products that I bought. Just plug in and look and sound great! Yesterday watching the Super Bowl and we look forward to March Madness!

This TV is good for its price. I realized during the Thanksgiving sale for only 799! The picture quality is very good and see Xbox games in HD awsome. I bought a Blu-ray player to this television and the quality is surprisingly cheap price on him. Recommend this TV for those who are on a tight budget.

I think it's simple and quick: I worked as manager for electronics giant for a while 'and I have seen and compared many screens … No other panel is close to Samsung in my opinion (and similar models, such as 550 or 600) in terms of value for money. If you are looking for 37-40 inches. is better than anything on the market other than non-elite units (price under 3K are not so silly).
