I bought a 32 inch black xbr9 on Friday with a discount.
Thus, it is good in all aspects, pixel, sound, perfect video quality.

But there is another problem, my TV movies, my roommate 1080hp 60hz, so I could not know the difference. If you are a man of technology instead of buying 32-inch xbr9 1080p 120Hz, go to 1080p at 60 Hz, 40-inch Sony. (both have the same price), you can not understand the difference of 120-60 Hz

  • Motionflow 120Hz technology reduces judder and sharpens fast-moving images for a crisp, more natural picture

  • Get versatile HD connection options with seven HD inputs, including four HDMI inputs (up to 1080/60p capable), HD component and combo inputs

Sound & the Fury of HDTV – Marty Wohl – Woodstock, NY USA

Excellent picture quality and sound. Need to anchor desk stand TV, if not for the mounting bracket, because he spoke up, light, movement, too.
Child or animal, can easily be reflected, if not with a console. It is a perch with pre-hole
bolt in the base table. But it would be much better served by wall together, if possible.

Bad experienec with Mamazon and J&R Electronics – Rishikesh – Tampa, FL
Hello:

I had the TV on Amazon from J & R ordered the day after Thanksgiving Day 2009 more than 10 late cancellation, that is, J & R, which were from the field and all the television advertising, while still using it to Amazon. When I mentioned the Amazon, led the ads. Amazon starts after the sale of television itself. I asked Amazon (at least 4 to 5 times), if the operation of credit, but without success. Later, I contacted J & R, and offeredI sold the TV for the same price (both the day after Thanksgiving). Their billing department has given me a difficult time. When I saw the television, I realized that he had a big white cloud in the center. I called Sony and exchanged with new ones. Since the debate, I spent, and the price I paid for 32 "television, the experience was not good.

TV itself is great. This is my first LCD TV, the picture quality is just great! everything else is good or OK.

Unexpected failure has me concerned – Robert O. Tucker – Savannah, GA
This is the third of four Sony LCD flat screen TV that I bought from Amazon for the last three or four years. The first was KDL32-XBR4 (excellent). Another was KDL40-V4100 (excellent). The other two were both KDL32-XBR9 (both pre-installed with the latest software). Here is where the questions begin. The first of them has XBR9 were in place for about two months. It all started well, but now has distorted the center of the screen.Almost impossible to see the program material, which soon moved sideways movement. Since then, my only option appears to be integrated directly into politics, to use Sony replacement by a correction "on. My" new "will be replaced by strangers. Warranty on-site representative in this area is not very good, so I give them a try. I must admit that I knew this could happen, and it was my responsibility to solve the problems of the service. But II have the top line of products that address this potential problem. Now I am less sure of my choice, and a lot about how the second shot of the same series is probably right.

Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-32S5100 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Black Review

I bought these to replace my kitchen pipe on my Sony 24 "TV. My setup worked fine straight from the box. The color is too light or ultra anesthesia errors.

I noticed that the black level of the DTV signal is not my expectation. I have two groups of industrial Panasonic plasma monitor, along with DirecTV Sony / DTV receivers. I am spoiled with an excellent level of black screen Panasonic. No matter how I adjust the color, brightness, or"Picture" setting can not be a satisfactory result.

Then I changed the settings. Instead of using build-DTV tuner, I have DirecTV Sony / DTV tuner external. Immediately, his two sons noticed a big difference. Black corresponds to the concentration in plasma (especially football programs in full HD). Until then, I realized that I can add Sony TV! Well, the picture is perfect, with bright colors (not to mention excessive "Vivid mode" here. I wantedrealistic, and saturated colors) and the deep black (but not to the extent that you do not see shadow details).

I was using the connection component. Note that the advertising will always be that HDMI is the best connection. However, it depends on the video converter and a source of television. If you use high-end Blu-ray DVD players that can output component looks better than HDMI converter as a DVD video player is better than the video can be seenTV Converter. However, if the TV is good, then you can (should) have a better picture with HDMI. Depends on it! For this Sony television, I have HD DVD Player Toshiba HD-D3 (or HD-A3 test), is an excellent DVD player. Even in comparison with the HDMI components and found that it has HDMI hair sharper picture with particular colors very little. Wire component is first class. A bit 'more "bad" component of the image can be caused either slightly Underworld VideoConverter from Toshiba or through component cable underworld. I can not find here. But with the digital DirecTV DTV Receiver Sony, pull the signal from component input. Or at least that I hardly say that one is really better. So if you want to buy an old HD connections HDMI. Otherwise, a few short "adjustment" for the job before deciding which connection to use.

In any case, the Sony image quality is satisfactory. 60 Hz refresh rate, not at allThe things that much when I watch football games in HD. However, 1080p is the difference of opinions (with TV, TV in the kitchen). Furthermore, it seems even better if, as a computer monitor. The hook Dell Latitude, Sony and the picture looks very bright and lively. I did not expect the sound stand-alone "stations to be good. The news of the kitchen, it seems ok. I feel that speaks clearly. Do not build speakers for concert purposes. I have a Denon receiverCelestion speakers in my kitchen. So that the sound is not a problem for me with this TV.

Over all, this is an excellent choice as a monitor. However, as a stand-alone TV, the image may suffer a bit 'faded. The sound is not able to compete with the best, but it is still valid, clear, high, low / no support. I would be the Sony 3 + stars as stand – alone TV as a monitor, but the 5 + stars. It must, therefore, 4 stars on my vote. But for my purposes, this is a solid 5-star display!

Hello,

I have just a TV version, but the alternative is precisely the problem. The sound is terrible in low volumes. Reading from the experience of others with this model is the common television. Too bad, otherwise it is a good tv.

terribly disappointing – J. Scott –
That was my foray into the world of HDTV. Most studies show that Sony is the leader in HDTV technology and customer satisfaction, so this series is confusing anomaly.

Before buying this unit, I read about problems with users a range of functions. Most people have these problems could be solved with a simple firmware upgrade. Sony's credit, the upgrade would be easier, and it seemed to install correctly and reports. Butdoes not set a particular to determine the questions – the main thing is the temporary loss of sound when using the HDMI port connnecting and occasional loss of color and contrast.

These questions – and the lack of correction – it was quite disturbing. But I also noticed that when I'm with component inputs (DVD deck, access to, for example, would be in contact) and listen through the external audio Hi-Fi has always been something behind the image. Any kind of pause, rewind, fast forward, orStop by the source to resolve this scandal, nor all the audio settings in the TV menu. The sound is generally in sync when played back on television alone, never, but when you listen outside. Not to mention everything that does not seem to find the right balance of color, no matter how small or dramatic changes. Presence was not enough the whole picture (even with maximum backlight), and unnatural colors, always looked in his eyes. Moreover, even at 1080p, the picture always produce more than their fair share of pixelation, too.

While the color balance can result in issues fussy with kindness – particularly in the sound sync – Sun Needless to say, it is – especially at this affordable price, and Sony is not. Let discourage them from trying to avoid another Sony HDTV, only this. (Actually I got 37 "VIZIO 1080p for a few dollars more for the return Bravia.Although I'm not crazy about the navigation menu, I get this experience is out of sync audio problems – there were a menu setting for such a situation – and the picture is wonderful, with rich colors and some artifacts. )
